Well I remembered where I heard it first. It’s now early October. Which September did you have in mind?

Can I sneak in an ' arghhhhhhhh' - that's better. Every time someone says 'Snowflake' when it isn't actually snowing.

“have you been counting the days since January 19? How bizarre.”
No. I have a very modern gadget called a computer and I have a facility on it where I can set reminders to do things on a certain date. I shouldn’t think too many people have them.
“Do you want me to dig out all those posts where you predicted the London Olympics would be a failure?”
Yes please.
“…the noble and learned New Judge, who might however remember that starting threads aimed at criticising individual ABers is discouraged,..”
Is it? Nobody told me that. It’s not in the Site Rules. But most of all, there’s quite a lot of it about. Anyway, it’s not criticism. I was just interested to hear from weecalf about his quite precise prediction, what with it being the Tory Party Conference and all that.

• Treat others as you would like to be treated and respect other people’s opinions. Discussions can get passionate but users should moderate their language and refrain from personal attacks and profanity. We encourage lively debate but name calling, harassment or abuse will not be tolerated.

"Treat others as you would like to be treated and respect other people’s opinions."
I do. I don't mind anybody querying anything I have said or pointing out I am incorrect.
"Discussions can get passionate but users should moderate their language and refrain from personal attacks and profanity."
There was none of any of the above in my question.
"We encourage lively debate but name calling, harassment or abuse will not be tolerated."
Nor that.
My question was a lighthearted rebuke to a prophesy which didn't materialise. There was no nastiness, no abuse, no personal attacks, no harassment. I do worry that there are more "snowflakes" about than I thought.
