I am a scientist at heart and was nuclear reactor operator for the United States Navy Nuclear Submarine Program. I also taught Nuclear Physics and Reactor Protection Analysis while in the Navy, for the Navy. You may say evidence for the New Testament but you cannot provide any for Genesis. If you feel that God has only told you about the evidence my case is closed with you. If you believe science, which has no reason to lie to anyone, then you will believe the earth is 4.6 billion years old as I do. God doesn't look at time. Why should you. People that say all the words of the bible were written from God has a very deep problem. Back in the day, no one could write and the word was passed on by storytelling. So you tell me that in biblical days we knew of science and mathematics and physics. I doubt you would stand very long in front of the Romans.

I understand your frustration, but trust me, it's pointless.

Theland doesn't want a debate, he does what a lot of zealous Christians do, he puts forward his point of view, and then gets stroppy with anyone who doesn't agree with him, and he ignores any attempts to debate what he says.

The best thing is just to ignore him, and move on, he doesn't want a discussion, he wants to tell you what you should think, and then patronise you when you don't.
