Double Tapping Space To Get A Full Stop

Hi everyone. On my iPhone 6 I used to double tap on the space bar to get a full stop. Ever since I upgraded the IOS it has stopped working and for the life of me I can’t find where to switch it on. Any ideas ?

This link tells you how to turn the function off but simply moving the slider in the opposite direction should enable you to turn it on:

Keyboard has changed on the latest version 11.0.2 iPad. Now the full stop is on same key as question mark. To select question mark you have to select capital button first. Unless there’s an easyier way.

Thanks Buenchico. I have got it back. Try following Buenchicos advice Malagabob and slide on “Shortcuts” and then you can double tap on the space bar. Make sure your keyboard is in “English” on my keyboard on my pc the keys move about if I swap languages.
