two different methods of catching invertebrates and small mammals?...PLEASE HELP!

i can't think of what the two traps were called to trap these animals, i need to know for my biology homework, and i can't find anything about them anywhere, can anybody tell me what these two traps were called?...i think one was when the insect was attracted to the light and then it got proppeled down to a vat of alcohol were it died, but i need to know the name of it....please post back!!

Hi tiger,
For small mamals check out - Haverhart trap, Longworth trap and flip-top trap.
For invertibrates -Pooter, the tullgren funnel or perhaps floatation.
