you mentioned in another thread that your local Oxfam creates cards from book illustrations.

I volunteer in an Oxfam bookshop and mentioned it to my manager and he was curious about the idea. Can you give me any information about the cards, costs and where your shop is (I realise that you may be hesitant to tell me where you reside).

While you are waiting for Tilly, is this any help, no idea of their prices though.

My new ad-blocker won't let me in but I will have a look in the morning. My shop is in Perth and we recently got a new manager - he is half my age and so full of enthusiasm.

That is strange, I have an ad blocker on, and I can get into the site using the link.
I think Susan wants to know how they create their cards, not where the shop is.
I make my own using a variety of techniques but nothing on a grand scale - very simple using whatever I can find.
She does ask in her post 'where your shop is'. Not sure if this is the same one Tilly was talking about but it does make the cards.

Do we think wolf's after a toy boy and is just trying to impress him? ;0)))
Apologies, I missed that part - you're right.
You can always temporarily disable the Adblock for particular sites.
Hello, Wolf. It is the local Oxfam bookshop in Bedford.

They obviously use ready made blank cards and cut out illustrations from a variety of books and stick them on the front of the cards. They then put them in a cellophane envelope and sell them for £1.99.
The ones they have are evocative. Lots of Christopher Robin and Pooh. Those are the ones I buy. I love them.
Cards with Pooh on can sell for £1.99 Well I didn't know that.
Bear with me, Ron. :-)
Stick them down with honey?

Captain - alas he already has a boyfriend. :-(

The blocker is probably going to be okay but I'm just tired and impatient.

Tilly - I will pass on the info. Thanks. I had to say that our shop is lovely.

Thanks everybody.
