A message came on Whatsapp saying that it had to be updated in 13 days or cancelled.
Is this a scam?

Are they asking for 99p to update it?
Question Author
No Tilly.
Well, there is a scam on Whatsapp asking for money for updating.
I suspect a scam, but if you wanted to update it doing so from the legitimate source, not a received link or message info, should protect you.
How long have you had it? We had to uninstall and reinstall it after a year, because it was only free for a year.
I've had it for over 3 years and never had to uninstall or pay. I don't believe there is a legitimate 'free trial'.

pixie..it said I have 13 days.

Thanks folks, I thought it was a scam.
Probably not by the look of the link. None of us were asked for any details, it just stopped working.
I'll ring you in 14 days and see if it works :-)
