Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Your patience and helpfulness is admirable, danny and l-i-k. Given that julian has omitted letter counts from all posts since 2012 and has received numerous reminders I'm wondering whether there may be a technical issue. I know some posts can be truncated if certain keys (more than and less than for example)- maybe julian's browser doesn't accept numbers. And maybe there is a restriction on the number of characters which prevents full clues being given.
Julian- if the full details won't go in the question box try putting the letter count in the title box (and don't then use the title builder) or adding the missing info as a reply to your own question. Or you could raise a query with the Ed. Good luck

It looks as if you are at least able to reply to your own posts (you did it here in 2011, https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Quizzes-and-Puzzles/Crosswords/Question1000624.html) so you should be able to add missing info that way. Good luck
