AOG - I think we both have enough experience of the media's approach to royalty to know that every scintilla of Megan's life will be picked over by them in the coming months and years.

I think, and I hope, that both she and Harry are level-headed enough to ignore the nonsense and accept that it goes with loving each other, and being married.

Once the wedding is over and the hysteria dies down, hopefully they will be allowed to get on with their lives.

Hymie, it might be 'nice' if our Royal Family were 'British', as Ratter suggests, but when you look at the track record for them marrying 'Brits' - it does rather indicate that a trawl outside the local bluebloods available would be a good idea.

Queen - married to a foreigner
Charles - married a 'Brit' - divorced
