Nokia Phones

My 17 year old Nokia 3210 has just given up on me. Does anyone know whether the Nokia 3310 which has just been relaunched holds the same size Sim card as the 3210? Or do I need to buy a new one. Many thanks for any help.

You can keep your number if you buy the new Nokia but the shop have these little mini sim cards and just transfer your number onto new sim/ phone without any problem

Thank you, Ducksie. So I will need to buy a new Sim card along with the phone, and then get my number changed over? I knew I could keep my number but have been told that the Sim card sizes have changed.

No, you don't buy the sim, when you buy the phone either the shop you buy it will insert a sim and sort the number for you, all done before you get home or else, if they are an independent company like carphone warehouse or something, they will give you a sim, tell you to ring your service provider, tell them you have a new phone, new sim but you need your own number and it will get sorted for you, it's very easy transfer over and they do the work, not you in most cases, the shop will tell you in a much clearer way but the jist is, you'll keep your number

They just cut your sim to size.

I got my phone the other day and my providers shop assistant just went into the shop, went to the back and came out with my new chip, broke it off to size as the card contains a chip, micro chip and nano chip and inserted it into my phone, all done within 5 minutes.

Well, picked up the new phone today and the charger does not fit an English socket!!! Can I presume that you received a charger that does fit a UK socket?
