Does it cause much spatter, emmie? If you were using it clean a greasy hob would the mess go everywhere?

hc, if you use the smaller head that comes with the set, or should do, then i think that it would be ok. but to be honest a wipe round with cif and a damp cloth will work just as well.

the item is heavier than it looks

I think it's 2kg which is far too heavy for many people to use above their heads, on bathroom tiles which it would be ideal for with the extending handle.
I was sorely tempted to buy one but I don't think I'll bother. Thanks for the feedback, emmie

if its limescale on the shower tray, have you tried using thick limescale loo cleaner? leave on until it stops fizzing then rinse...no scrubbing or effort involved
