It's weird, this has obviously happened without incident, but I still felt better when the man hooked his safety clip on.

I'm not climbing - he is, and he obviously knows what he is doing.

It's funny how our subconcious senses react to what our eyes see - as if we are carrying out the action personally - in the same way you can feel seasick watching film from a boat in a rough sea.

Perhaps these guys are like the Sioux Indians who found work on construction during the skyscraper developments in New York - a genetic kink means they don't suffer from vertigo, so they work at heights as though they are working on the ground.

My arms are aching from watching it all through, I feel better about having to go up a ladder to clean the bedroom windows tomorrow. The carabiner looked to be slipped over an open rung with the potential to slip off and why did the other climber have a much bigger one at the end. I'm sure they go to the loo before starting but from there they could have great fun! I'd like to see the descent, I always find descending a ladder harder as I can't see where I'm going too easily.
