Hot tongue, hot wee

Last winter, i suddenly developed a very hot tongue, almost like i'd been eating chillies. When i went for a wee, it burnt like hell to the point of really stinging. This lasted for about 12 hours.

Last week, i had the same again and today, i've again got the symptoms. I've not done anything or eaten/drunk anything out of the ordinary and i feel absolutely fine

Any suggestions (apart from go to the Dr's)

Stinging when you wee is usually cystitis but it usually lasts longer than 12 hours. Cranberry juice helps get rid of cystitis so I spose it wouldn't harm to drink a lot of it just in case a fleeting bout of cystitis

have you tried the website for nhs direct?you can put in your symptoms I think and see what comes up?

my other half, nurse julie, says it sounds a lot like galloping crotch-rot.
