The US and Russia have a common enemy, Islamic State. So good to know there is some sharing of information that will defeat IS.
The allegations of collusion are nothing to do with the war on terrorism. The allegation was of Russia interferring in the US democratic process, by supplying Trump and the Republicans with dirt on Clinton. This revealation has nothing to do with any of that and is not collusion at all.

It is fine to share intelligence on Islamic State bombers with the Russians.
It is quite different to get and put in the public domain, intel on your political rivals. Because that is a foreign power influencing the election.
That Trump was the Kremlins preferred candidate and he now sits in the oval Office is interesting.
