Hi all! Just wondering what toppings people put on their crumpets. I have just butter, or cheese. Have had loganberry jam once or twice, but have to be in a “sweet” mood to enjoy that!
Generally speaking Yeo valley slightly salted organic butter.
If I can get hold of some I like butter from small creameries with their own herds. Always interesting to see how the flavour changes through the seasons.
I am gnawing my arm off wanting a crumpet now......
