Not current news but....
Have been watching 'Forensic files' on UKTV People and guys have been sentenced to up to 399 years !! (OK they might get parole after 200 lol). Is it time that our justice system caught up with them? Since when does 'life' mean 15 years? Our justice system means NOTHING to the victims. Sorry, been drinking and I hope this post makes sense.

This means that they can be put back in jail at any time for the rest of their life - and they don't have re-offended, simply breached the terms of their license. It could be for very minor matters. Happens more frequently than people realise.
