after transfering a movie from humax hard drive to my pc and then writing to dvd, what is the probable cause of audio and video being out of sync

Are you using Nero? The reason I ask is because I often have this problem.I am sure it is something to do with the Transcoding of the movie, but I have not managed to find out the cause.I now use a program called WinAVI to convert the file to DVD format, and then use Nero to burn to DVD.It works every time, there is no synch problems, and it is far quicker that using Nero to transcode the movie.

I use DVD Movie Factory, I wondered if it was because space on my hard drive was low.
