Coleman’s makers of the famous English mustard is to close after manufacturing for over 160 years. Is it time to stock up?

I have just looked at my tin and hc is correct.
I only buy Colman's when I want English mustard.
heritage..history..tradition..pride... some things are imeasurable..a big loss !
Allegedly they will still be grinding the seeds at a new facility in Norwich but moving the production to Burton on Trent and abroad. OH will be seeing if this product too is to be ruined, cf Cadbury, he's the mustard fan.

And a tip for you you before you correct a poster do a double check.
For the proper taste you need to make your own from the mustard powder. The ready-made stuff is much less tangy.

They have survived a lot worse!
But I will wear a black armband next month when I go home!
Colman's has been part of Unilever for over 20 years and I don't think that's going to change. I think the mustard itself will stay exactly as it is.
Looks like their putting all their condiments in the same place ( Burton Stinks around the Bovril factory )
