I have a CUE./BIN. movie file and made a VCD using software called BurnAtOnce which is very good. I now have on the CD when i open it on the computer 5 folders called CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, VCD. But its not playing on my DVD player. Have I burned it correctly? Are these folders what usually appear on a VCD? Is it my DVD player? Or make of CD? HELP (This is my first attempt)

an easier way may be to right click on the cue file and select the option "open with" - then select your burning software ( I use either Nero burning Rom, or Alcohol 120%) this then burns it straight to disc as a VCD - it may also depend on your DVD player , if they dont work straight away on mine (as has happened in the past) I press the PBS button and it starts up.
Hope this gives a little help, but let us know if still having problems.
Good luck
In the mpegav folder is where the video file is stored, it will be a .dat file. try putting it back in your pc and playing the dat file in media player. If it works you know the video is working, if it doesn't work, it means the image file you have is bad.

Try playing it using DVD software on your pc.

If it works on your pc but not your dvd player then your DVD player just doesn't like it.
does your dvd player play vcd's ? some dont.
