Unfortunately my lady wife forgot to make a note of her apple I/D . She can see the email address ending iCloud.com but doesn’t know either the password or answers to security questions. I have attempted various ways to retrieve them but unsuccessful. Your help please we are both Dummies with computers.

Every way we go we are asked for pass word or security questions. She has a list of security answers used for other sites but not the ones required by apple i.e name favourite football team.....she hates football. How do I contact Apple rep to help me either change security questions or tell me the answers to the ones they are asking, Thanks for all help.

Why on earth do you think Apple are going to give you the answers to your security questions?
If they did that then any person who steals a iPad or iPhone or Apple computer could just phone up Apple and get all the information to logon on to the device.
I am afraid in this day and age we should all make a note of our userids and passwords and other information that gets us on to our devices or web sites.
Creating an Apple ID and then not making note of the details for when you need to log back on is rather short sighted.
Apple are very strict about security and I doubt you will get anyone at apple to give you the info you need.
p.s. There are some Apple shops in various shopping centres, maybe go in there and see if they can help. Take in proof of purchase of the device you are trying to get help on as they may ask for this.

Again, this makes no sense at all. Did she not set her own Apple ID up in the first place? In which case, she must have entered a football team when asked for one - her opinion of football really doesn't come into it! Apple won't be asking her a security question to which they don't an answer in their systems...
