Surely this is enough to put you off ever indulging...?

She looks a fright - and yet now she is awaiting pioneering surgery to stop her face collapsing - no doubt at the expense of the taxpayer!

// If you saw a poor homeless man on the floor with no nose and you KNEW it's because he spent a load of money on drugs and snorted them all up his nose you'd have no sympathy. //
Maybe YOU would respond that way, but please please don't make assumptions about what the rest of us might think. That "poor homeless man" might be doing the only thing he can to escape the wretched place he finds himself in. In fact...maybe that's what starts people on drugs in the first place. Some might escape addiction...or may be functioning addicts. They look like you and I, they go to work. They think they are alive...
I don’t understand this apparent limitation on the human capacity to feel sympathy. I have sympathy for all sorts of people but it doesn’t prevent me feeling sympathy for a once beautiful young woman who in the stupidity of youth has ruined her life.
Question Author
Indeex, Naomi, but how many other lives will a once beautiful woman ruin in the process by inadvertently glamourising destructive, Class A drugs?
You think she's glamorising it? Quite the opposite I would say.
I hardly think she's glamorised anything much at all. Quite the reverse. Not exactly a good advert is she.
There's a deep sadness about addiction, all types of addiction - Naomi mentioned a few earlier.

The human condition means some go down that road more than others, I've never been tempted by Cocaine but other addictive traits have affected my life.

It could happen to anyone we know or love.
My dad was a gambling addict.
I have never been tempted to support an industry which worldwide causes more death and destruction than war. A few celebs being damaged by drugs is as nothing to the horror of people being fed this stuff and deliberately addicted so they can be forced into prostition. This lady is in a relatively good position compared with countless thousands of other cocaine addicted girl slaves in brothels around the world and close to home, who will never see forty.
I have no sympathy for anyone who supports this trade, let alone celebs who have, in the past (wink wink) made it "trendy".
No sympathy from me. Why does everybody keep saying she was 'beautiful'? She was ok looking, not beautiful.
