Can someone tell me if i can save some mp3 music onto an internal hard drive
without actually fitting it into a case
i am trying to economically send some music to a relative
Yes, if you know what you're doing! If you don't have a case, you'll have to connect the hard drive to the machine's internals. So long as it's formatted, it'll acquire a drive letter when the machine reboots which you can then access through Windows Explorer in the normal way. Then, once you've done the copying, switch the machine off, remove the drive and send it to your relative who'll have to do the whole process in reverse. Does this make sense?
