We got a wine tasting weekend for a wedding present - it was a bit different to the usual toasters and very enjoyable.

These guys do wine related things including boxed gifts.
Might be worth a peruse.
tea at the ritz. i did it on the weekend, its very special, posh, and i thought it was romantic cos it gave us excuse to get all dressed up together. that's only about 60 you could get them theatre vouchers with the remainder of the money which would be a lovely weekend in london (unless they already live there.....)

when my bro married, him and his girlf had everything for the house and take two holidays a year already, so we all put together and bought them 2 chickens and an eggloo from this website.....

its not romantic, but they really enjoy them and they live in town centre - chickens are quite the stylish urban pets apparently!
