Just had a weird thought. Where exactly do birds die? we only ever seem to see baby birds if theyve fallen out of nests or from the eaves etc. or come to think of it, what about other animals like badgers, ducks, foxes. we dont just come across them as we go for a stroll, do we?

Birds die anywhere

but why dont we see them?
They may be taken by foxes, possibly badgers.

And, likely, they die whilst taking refuge in a bush/tree, so have you checked under many bushes?

Most rodent-type things probably die in their burrows.
