I'm sure that most people appreciate that the sentence for death by dangerous driving is set at no more than 14 years (I think this was increased from 10 years recently), so that the judge's hands were tied. howsoever long he actually serves, given his character, previous and lack of driving licence, you can bet his first act on release will be to start driving again.

What they also appreciate is that such sentences are a joke. The law really has to be changed to allow for longer sentences, especially with a record like this.
Personally,I would like to see them serve the expected life term that each child would have looked forward to living,and that the cell included a noose for them to relive themselves of said sentence if they felt it was getting too much for them.
