Yes it is probably due to the hot weather. If the door is a descent one it should have flag hinges which are adjustable and adjusting these could ease the situation.
However I do not recommend any one who knows nothing about these doors to attempt adjusting the doors themselves.
If it is really bad check to see if there is a guarantee. Most reputable companies give a ten year guarantee and they may send someone out to adjust the doors for you.
Also most descent doors due have box steel or aluminium re-inforcing which helps the situation.
If the doors are woodgrain, then re-inforcing is mandatory in order to prevent severe bowing in extreme heat.
As the weather cools down the problem will probably disappear.

One problem can occur when adjusting doors without experience is that after adjusting the door:-
a) the door does not line up properly and you will see gaps around some of the edges
b) All the male locking points must line up with the female. For example if you have a nine point locking system then eight male catches must line up with the respective female hole or catches. The dead bolt does not usually cause a problem.
If you do attempt to line up the door with allen keys remember how many turns you use so that if necessary you can revert back to the original setting.
The best thing to do is see if the situation gets better when the weather cools down. Rgds Al
