The Wedding. Different Perspective

Viewed 'the wedding' at my mums today. Was planning on avoiding it myself but she had it on while I was doing a bit of painting there so couldn't entirely escape the event.
However, I heard that there had been people there that had been camped out since Thursday to catch a view of the happy couple.
I had to ask myself WHY?
I wish Harry and Megan the best of luck but just don't get this sycophantic adulation of what is basically just two people tying the knot?

Am I missing something?

" all colours of the rectum " fabulous :-)
I guess it's something like Glastonbury but without the noise and drugs. A bit like the Wimbledon Queue.

I remember when I used to be a juvenile teenager and thought that 'rectum' gags were funny as well!
Some of us have grown up since...

Simples - it's something to tell the grandkids, innit.

In any case it was quite historical with the abandonment of Royal tradition in some parts. I watched purely to see how the bride and all the guests were dressed. Over and above that I CBA'd.
