Is 10 Years Old Boy Too Old To Go In Female Toilet With Mummy ?

My son told me that a woman yelled at him when he went to the toilet with his mum today in a superstores toilet.

What is the acceptable age for this sensitive subject.

i don't think the woman who yelled at the boy is mature enough to be allowed in a public toilet unattended ...

Would you let your ten year old go into a public toilet by himself,when I was a kid thats lost in the mists of time yes,nowadays no chance the boy would'nt be safe and may well see things that no child should see

Little Tiggs will be 8 soon and he was diagnosed with Autism a few years ago. I prefer to bring him into the ladies with me and will continue doing so until he is comfortable going to the gents on his own.

He doesn't like going on his own and hates the noise of hand dryers so I have to be with him.

my six year old has only just stopped coming in the cubicle with me. She now directs me to stand outside and prevent people using the hand dryers (!) even if i let her in by herself, i still check the cubicle afterwards to make sure she's flushed and there's no wee on the seat

I HAVE A 10 YEAR OLD GRANDSON. HE USED TO GO INTO THE LADY BATHROOM WITH ME, UNTIL HE REACH THE AGE OF 10. HE FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE GOING INTO THE LADY BATHROOM, AND I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WITH HIM GOING INTO THE MENS BATHROOM. THERE ARE SO MANY WEIRD MEN WHO GO INTO THOSE RESTROOM.
I TOLD MY GRANDSON, I WILL BE RIGHT OUT HERE WAITING FOR YOU, IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS TO YELL AND RUN OUT OF THERE. IT JUST NOT SAFE ANYMORE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BOYS OR GIRLS IN PUBLIC BATHROOMS ANYMORE..
