Super Day Out At Elan Valley.

Weather was brilliant so was company of four good friends. We went to the visitors centre and had a drink and a cake. Got our bearings and some maps. Went on the route of the dams. It was a brilliant experience seeing the designs of some of them and reading the workings of them.
We walked round the first one but drove around the rest.
We finished off with a meal at a pub in Brecon. OH had sirloin steak, chips, peas and onion rings, I had Lasagne garlic bread and salad we both had a drink and it came to about £20. What a bargain. A really good day.

I remember going to the dams when I was about 11 years old. Very nice.

You can't beat a pub lunch when you're out and about.
