It was very peaceful I had to laugh though at her wee tongue poking out.

The vet that did it was our Teddy’s vet and she was great.

She’s now crossed over rainbow bridge and I know she will be playing with Jess whom she loved very much.

I’m ok though, I’m glad she’s now at peace.

Thank you so much.

Just been up to the vet and Molly’s vet came out and gave me a hug and set me off again.
What's a haar? Anyway, I took a neighbours' dog to be put down once because she couldn't bear the thought of it. As we went into the vets, the dog behaved as though it was a specimen of health. But it had started having really bad fits, lots of times each day. The vet put the needle in his paw, and it was all over in seconds. He just gave a slight moan, then passed away. As you all know, I'm not keen on dogs, but it was sad to see. But that was a long, long time ago.
A cold sea fog
A haar is a dense rolling mist that comes inland from the sea !
Haar! Jim Lad! Thanks for the info! Sorry about the puss. My nephews' cat went out a few weeks ago and hasn't been back. She did go AWOL at times but only for few days, but this time it looks ominous.
I hope you can draw comfort from the fact that she is now at peace. My thoughts are with you xx
I'd like to add my condolences too, on the loss of your much-loved puss.

Hope you will accept a cyber hug. {{{HUG}}}
You did the kindest thing today .

Thank you everyone for your kind words and hugs.

I’ve had a quiet evening lit a candle. Will collect the ashes in a few weeks time.

I’ve spent most of the night comforting Henry. He spent most of his time with Molly, looking out for her, making sure she ate, had a clear run to a tray and that the others left her be. Poor wee mite misses her. But I’ve promised him he will always have his mumma xx
I'm sorry to hear about your little girl, Molly.

People will try to comfort you by telling you that she was like a member of the family. Complete bull-excrement - she 'was' a member of your family - and an important one too.

So sorry to see you've lost a part of your life queenie. She will always be in your big lovely heart. xxxxx
