Sky Box Fault

I HAVEN'T SIGNED UP TO SKY BUT USE THE SKY HD BOX FOR FREEVIEW AND HAVE DONE FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS.ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S PACKED UP! I've pressed BACK UP and held it before turning the box on and all four lights come on as it re boots itself and then the orange light instead of the red light comes on and thats it! Any suggestions how to get it working again?!

If you can't fix the problem just buy a generic satellite receiver:

If the orange light is on, how can the box be dead?

For 'dead', read 'beyond repair'.

Once the orange light has come on, after the 4 lights have gone out, you have to use the REMOTE to get it up and running again.

Just an afterthought......you have to use the backup button on the BOX(not the remote) to reboot it.
