My God he was great performing at the end of the One Show. Googled him and he is 81. Sang, Danced and played I think trombone.

His book (Bermondsey Boy) is worth a read

I can remember seeing the film "The Tommy Steele Story" at Saturday morning pictures and from then he was always my favourite. He is very talented.

He puts me in mind of Bruce Forsyth, a trouper who will go on to the very end.

He’s a brilliant sculptor too. Google and you’ll see
