What's the best way to either get rid of them or avoid them in he first place??
I've got a huge one on the insde of my lip that's been there for nearly a week now and I keep catching it with everything I eat!!
I've put a bit of Bonjela on but it didn't do much - I've also tried to burst it but that just makes it hurt more!!......how long should they last and is it best just to leave them alone to go away by themselves?

But prevention is better than cure, and ulcers are often a sign of a vitamin deficiency. Since I started taking a good multivitamin every day, I have never had an ulcer, and I used to be plagued with them!

Ah damn i have mouth ulcers at the moment they are so uncomfortable...i once had my mouth totally covered in them and they were like the size of 5pence pieces some of them - aparently it was stress and i was put on penicillin. Though i still get them now but ive heard that people are either prone to them or just not. I seem to get them whenever i eat sweets so i dont know if thats to do with it or coincidence?
