renault megane expression

i have a 2003 megane and i have problem getting into gear sometimes, in fact i had to get recovery out last week as they woukdnt budge at all , recovery guy got it working but said could be one or two reasons, cant remember ( am just a girl) but when i took it in to repairs on a totally differnet problem they said gears and clutch were fine . any ideas as still kepps doing it ?

just need to clarify what is actually happening. Does the clutch pedal feel the same when pressing it down?
Once the pedal is pressed can you move the gear lever to the correct position for the gear easily or does it make a loud grating noise and stops you from going into the correct place for that gear?

hi thanks for replying, clutch feels the same yes is not particularly noisy but just seems it starts to stiffen and seems more so for first gear and does seem to grate. thanks
