So sharia law isn’t a bad thing regarding murderers?
A solution would be to forget the death penalty, and incarcerate them in the tent prison in the Arizona desert, up to 60C by day and as low as minus 8C by night. A very harsh regime.
They would pray for death, but it would not come.
Capital punishment for these two would be merciful by comparison.

To be honest, it is that kind of masochistic fantasy that puts me off the Abrahamic faiths.
Not satisfied with the electric chair, you want them to suffer long and horrible until they beg to die. To me that is perverse and odd.
