after an update I have a flag in blue saying privacy settings when I click on it there's a whole list of 3rd parties to either accept or reject I reject all then I haave to sign back in again every time ..HELP

It's a real laugh when pressing the blue 'Privacy Settings' button and arriving at an AB page which is headed.. " We value your privacy" and then seek approval to pass on to third parties a lot of information about its members.

There are ways around it, it would be unfair on AB if I were to tell you.

Are the buttons blue when off?

Yes. However, if you 'Save and Exit' all cookies will be removed and you will need to Log-in again. Result all cookies are replaced on Log-in.

It's all very confusing and perhaps has been designed accordingly for the sake of advertisers, without whom AB could Not survive.
