Wasp Trap

We have eaten outside for the last three weeks but have beeñ plagued by wasps whilst eating.
Last night, I made up a concotion of plum jam, apple sauce and water and poured it into a glass jar which I placed on the table, result...seven dead wasps and we ate our dinner in peace!

Just a tip, if you are in the same situation.

For the flies I bought some apple cider vinegar and intended to put some washing up liquid in it, in a glass. Told it attracts & drowns them. But not tried it yet. Just wondering if I've nerve enough to set it up next time I'm out for a pub meal. Publicans don't seem to care.
