WHY? why do travel agents base their prices on strange No.s of adults. I just went to book holiday for me,mrs and sprog to be told there are free child places. Great ! only to be then told the price is based on 3 adults sharing. Sort of defeats the object a bit. How many people go on holiday as 3 adults.Surely this is just a way of inflating or disguising the price. Why can't they just give the full price clearly. Or am I going the wrong place to book my hols. Thanks.

When is an adult not an adult??. When its a child of 13!! Lots of hotels, airlines etc treat 13 and upwards as an adult!!
You've answered your own question. It's just a ruse to make it look as if you're getting bargain but you aren't really.

With the internet, you can get great travel and accommodsation bargains without bothering with travel agents.
