a few of us have that - it is not THAT bad - on AB as Sqad will know, there is a natural filter against a post - "I have had a diagnosis and been assured I will live in the short term..."
and more tendency towards a lively....
" I showed the doctor my ( X - insert organ ) and he screamed and said "o mi god is it alive - it looks as though its not attached!" He phoned the vet and HE called the bomb squad." and then the doc pressed the red button beneath his desk .....
how sqad gets any diagnosis beats me ....
at least one neighbour - the son said to me - "me da' went to the doctor, you know that one who was an abortionist but it was the only list we could get on"
and I said" yeah but your dad is a man so should be all right"
the young lad said, " there was something wrong with him."
and I said " Dr X has done his time and is trying to make his way back in the world. I mean even Dr Bawa Garba is back treating kids."
and the lad said " Wha'? Me da' - he said he was riddled with cancer"
and I said 'Oh, yeah, sorry."
" yeah all over it is the doc said - me da's a walking bag of pus!"
so I said how sorry I was to hear that - and a few weeks later when nothing ( I hesitate to use 'diddly squat') had happened I asked about progess and the lad said
" oh all the sputum samples came back negative and he has been given the all clear!"
I mean resurrection or what ?
( sozza dear reader - I know if I leave this thread I will be sucked into this evening's wild burka thread) - that of course should be berserka....

Each body and immune system is different. Also, some people get diagnosed with a stage 2 cancer and others get diagnosed with a stage 4 one. It depends situation by situation.
A plant based diet filled fruits, vegetables, legumes, and sprouted whole grains plus exercise every day can decrease your risk of getting cancer.

Well I've got Multiple Myeloma as some of you know. Sqad is saying 4 years average but could be longer.
I really hope it's longer as I've clocked up 7 years after diagnosis already.
I don't know if attitude plays a part but I've always refused to believe I might die soon, I've too much to do and too many people rely on me to go yet.
Having said that, my 81 year old mother tells me every day she's had enough of life and want to die, but she's still here.
