Hi everyone! Yes, it's back! With 7 days until kick-off, I've taken the liberty of restarting the Answerbank League at Sky Sports - https:/ /fantas yfootba ll.skys ports.c om/
(This is where I pretty much C & P last year's blurb...)
Hopefully all the regulars will enter a couple of teams & let's hope that a few more fancy having a go this season. Don't worry if you know *nothing* about football but still want to join in - you can use the option to have a team selected at random. The facility to enter a 3rd team in January will also be available.
As last year, we're given £100m to spend & have unlimited transfers until the Match Day deadline on Friday 10th August, then you get 5 per week / 40 for the season. They've kept the "Overhaul" feature, which means that for one week in September & one week in February, *unlimited* transfers will be available, *not* coming out of the 40 per season allowance! This was quite handy last season.
Info on all that ^ & more is here - https:/ /fantas yfootba ll.skys ports.c om/help
The paragraph "Captain Changes" in that link ^ is a "must-read".
When you've picked a team (or two) - yourself, or used automatic selection, name your team(s), then join the League - ours is called "AnswerBank" & the PIN you need to enter is -
8390546
You can then change the visibility of your team(s) between "Public" & "Private", depending on whether you want other Managers to be able to see the details. A note here - just because I'm called the League "Chairman" doesn't mean I'm given special powers. I can't see "Private" teams & I get no other privileges.
The following links can be useful (though as they point out, not necessarily definitive) to check for injuries and suspensions prior to game days -

Ok, I think that's covered everything needed to get the League going & I wish everyone lots of fun & good luck for the forthcoming season! :-))

I can't imagine She gained 43 bonus points so when the team was set up it accumulated points from week one witch is a good thing. The team only entered our league this week.
I have quite a few playing today and a couple tomorrow so not panicking ...yet.

Many Managers made many marks. Meh.
I haven't made a very auspicious start to the season & before next weekend fully intend to use a few transfers up.
Well done to those who've flown out of the blocks - can you keep it up though?
Keep on having fun & be well :-)
I've just seen a video recording of the game and I'm going to tape Neighbours over it

You're not doing too bad L.I.K. week one was a disaster for both my teams but apart from De Bruyne did not panic and it paid off with quite a few scoring on week two and actually being fielded.
Long, long, long way to go yet and I intend to save my transfers although on game-week five with the transfer amnesty I may swap a few about.
Even though early and only having played only four games I'll post our first AB league then due to the 'International Break'.

Afternoon all - a reminder to reset your Captains if you need/want to before Game Week 3 starts tomorrow. The weekend looks like this -
Saturday - 6 matches, 1st kick-off 12:30
Sunday - 3 matches, 1st kick-off 1:30
Monday - 1 evening match, kick-off 8:00
Arky - "...not doing too bad..." isn't doing good enough, I'm afraid!
I will however hold off with the transfers for now & instead hope for actual game time for some of my players.
Hope everyone has a good Bank Holiday weekend & keeps well :-)
Sadly we are back in the position we were in three years ago, but look how far we have come
