I can understand why he believes this as he was brought up as a strict Catholic ("life is life"), but I can't agree with him - even the morning after pill would be a no no to him.

Then let me clarify (I have no problem doing so in the interests of clear debate) - I don't believe that anyone, and that includes the father, has the right to make a woman carry an unwanted baby to term and delivery.
He's a judgmental twit. Why does no-one ever ask these pro life nuts about the quality of life mother and baby face afterwards? Seems to me all they care about is bullying women while they're vulnerable.

I think everyone is judgmental over certain issues, I certainly am!

Mr Rees-Mogg's views are of interest because he is a public figure, and a potential leader of his party, and thus a potential Prime Minister.

I do agree that it is easy for people not involved to make life-changing moral decisions on behalf of others, I think it is wrong to do so, and have stated so earlier in the thread - about a year ago now!
