had my appointment with the Gastro doctor, he told me i have
bile acid malabsorbsion and has given me something called quentran
to stop this going to the loo so much . He said that i have to go back in three months to check out whether it's worked. The fact is it strikes out of nowhere this trotting off to the loo and has got to the point of not going out.
any thoughts...

Taking the symptoms that you ave provided, followed by your results of investigations, i would suggest that it is a reasonable diagnosis.
Questran is cholestyramine is the standard and recognised treatment.
At least we have now, a reasonable diagnosis.

i have been given the questran to take one a day in water or juice.
That's fine emmie.
