Update On My 'i Am Seething 'post
The lady came round today to collect all my spare doggy paraphernalia. She is acquiring the dog through a Bulgarian rescue centre and it will be house and lead trained. She no longer feels that she needs a crate. Phew!
She was really grateful for the donations and gave me a bottle of wine as a thank you. That was nice.
She also asked if I would mind if she rang me in the future if she needed some advice. I told he I would love to help, if I can.
I feel much better now and really do wish her and her family well on the new addition.

This didn't bother me in the slightest, she needed a home and I was able to give her one. Dogs from abroad, especially from places like Romania, Croatia and so on are treated far worse than stray dogs in this country and when placed in sanctuaries there it is the survival of the fittest as they are all lumped together, not placed in single kennels like they are here and the weaker ones struggle to survive. My own little dog was a Spanish street dog trying to survive from day to day all on her own and I have NO REGRETS whatsoever at taking her on and I would consider taking a foreign dog on again in a heartbeat. I have rescued all my dogs as my parents did before me and all of them, except my little Spanish girl now, were dogs from this country. A need is a need.
