Completely stuck!
'from one clue in each pair' does this mean a pair being 8/9 A, 12/14 A, 15/17 A etc and does the moved letter affect the definition or wordplay? Perhaps some kind person could give me an example?
Thanks in advance.

Letter movements can affect any part of the clue and spaces, punctuation etc also change.
Example - 32 & 34
34 - The 'n' moves from 'mai(n)land' and it becomes two words 'mail and'
32 - The 'n' goes into 'be(n)d'
Moved letters can also go from the top clue to the bottom clue.
It's a real pain of a puzzle!
