As some of you may know Mrs B is in KCH Camberwell, B has been visiting almost daily, he has had the last 2 days off as other family have been visiting, she sees someone every day. As B has had time off he has had a couple of G & Ts in the evening, tonight I have had to hide the gin, he never overdoes it, just enough to induce a lie-in, not conducive with an ea o a 'normal' ward. She had a small Op. this morning, no problems. She is doing far better tan they thought she would, she will still need to transfer to a local hospital for Physio before she comes home, Ashford and Margate are the options, Margate would be favourite as Nat and I areboth based there, good news.

Dave says ok, three broken ribs punctured lung, chest drain and feeding tube, both now taken out, large haematoma back of head has been causing some confusion but now clearing up and badly bruised shoulders.
I know all that but what is the underlying condition?

Night Night.

Got there 11:30, staff narky with me as visiting time starts 14:00, when I am usually leaving, the ward is all private rooms so what difference does it make, doesn't affect anyone. At 12:00 a porter and a medic arrived and started to wheel her out, according to medic she was x-rayed last night, not happy with one of her ribs, needs to be fixed via surgery, going to be out of it for 6-7 hours as I was told by 'phone last night, oh NO I wasn't. Got an early train back, nothing else I could do in reality.
Your wife is being treated privately but they can't be bothered to ring you?

While I was there I checked her mobile, she has managed to delete all her contacts (?) Despite having numbers on file if they asked her for a number the only one she can remember is the Land-line. Sure enough, got home, message on L-line 23:30ish last night, we never gave them that number.
