Cant remember if ive already posted this or not (and cant be 'arrised looking...)
But my son and his GF have got themselves a flat, which ive been decorating for the past few weeks in between other commitments ...it was a tip...and are moving out on Wednesday.
Looking forward to having my own place back to myself again.
But got a funny feeling that Im going to miss them despite the constant nagging from me about the mess they leave me....
Could be a bit lonely but on the other hand....party time :-)

Enjoy the peace and quiet.

I wish them both the best of luck as they settle into their new home.
Indeed always nice moving into somewhere new and putting your stamp on the place with redec
don't count your chickens yet, mines been back more times than i can count...tell ya what, you will get all comfy and into your own stride, and then..knock knock err dad..i was err wondering mmmm
So the flags will be coming out!! Enjoy the peace & quiet you can always invite your son and girlfriend round.
oh i forgot err dad, i dont suppose you got a spare fiver, pay ya back, i promise...
Goid news Nailit. Make the most of it while you can...x
Glad to hear they have got a flat, will be nice to have your own space again but no doubt you will miss them for a while.
Of course you'll miss them, but it'll be nice to have your place to yourself.
They're not going to Australia.
I find it really hard. My daughter has her own flat now, one son is in uni and the other spends most of his time at his girlfriends.

I had my daughter at 18 so I've never been without kids. I find it quite lonely.
Enjoy some time to yourself, but good luck to them in the flat.
Similar circumstances to yours Nailit, my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter moved back here a year ago. They will find their feet eventually and get their own place too, and Ill miss them and worry for them. But It will be nice also to go back to the old routine.
