Who's is worst slacker?

I spend about 2 hrs a day surfing the net or walking round the different dept in my building talking to my mates (holding a piece of paper so I look like I'm doing something very important - obviously). Am I bad or is this about average. Also do you feel guilty as I don't.

i work 9-5.30 and am always on here...mon-fri

No one in my small office comes behind my desk unless they want a glass of water (water bottle behind my desk) - and when i see them approaching with a glass i switch websites,,,

Very rarely have something to do -so its their fault.

But i get paid well so wont complain ;0P

oh and for some reason i do feel guilty - probably because i got a pay rise last week.... so things might get busier for me in September.

It sounds as though your talents are not being used to their potential. Do you have work to do? Targets to achieve? Maybe you should try another department where your skills can be worked on. Maybe your line manager is not doing their job properly in monitoring your work? What are your mates doing? Do they have any vacancies??

Forstly i'm admin assistant and secretary - going to be office manager from September (hence pay rise)

No I dont have work to do at the moment unless im asked to type up a document or presentation of some sort (which isnt very often)

No targets to achieve...

No other departments (only 4 people work in my office - the only office)

my mates - well i've definitely got the upper hand on them - in terms of money and job location- some of them are stuck in retail whilst others are still studying...
