There is, jackdaw.
Hoveton in Norfolk is pronounced Huffton.
I remember when I was a student at Durham in the early 70s we would sometimes drive up to drink in The Rat at Anick.
There is an area in my nearest town called Caldmore, everyone calls it Calma ( Calm a ).
Odd that the L is not pronounced in Alnwick yet is in Alnmouth, just a few miles away.
There is also a district in South Shields called Chichester but pronounced Chy chester.
Correct, and it's Aln-mouth, not Aln-muth.
wymondham in Norfolk..windam , costessey ..cossy.....
Norfolk again - Stiffkey pronounced Stukey, Hunstanton as Hunstun.
Used to drive past a farm on my way to work on Kirriemuir. It was signposted Ballinshoe. However I am reliable informed it's Bellshay.

I won't say what my family thinks of Keswick, Ontario. I've passed through there many times. They live just down the road( Yonge St) in Queensville.
My favourite is Woolfardisworthy in Devon:

Then of course there's the surname "Featherstonehaugh" (pronounced "Fanshaw") and the Belvoir (pronounced "Beevor") Hunt.
And I forgot Magdalen (Maudlen) College at Oxford.
