I have just done a wash - on a daily wash setting at 30 temp

i noticed the glass in the door was cold for i think the whole time - i checked about every 10 mins
when i took the clothes out they were cold right through

i realise this is a low temp wash - but should i have been able to feel some heat through the glass? and if so at what point?
i realise it needs time to heat the water.
water gushed into the drum about 4 times while i watched at the start but still no heat.
and should the washing have been warmish when taking it out?

thanks

Without to much testing with meters try it on the hottest wash program available, not a bad idea to do occasionally to "clean machine " then you also know if heater is working
It wouldn't be warm when you take it out. After the wash, it would have been rinsed several times in cold water.

Note that 30 degrees is below body temperature, so wouldn't feel warm to the touch
Heating element failure is easily the most common fault in washing machines. All electrical spares shops sell new elements. It sounds like you need a new one! On most machines it is a DIY job, I have changed mine. Took less than 5 mins .
I always wash my clothes at 30 degrees and they're always cold when I take them out.
There is a chance it's not heating up, but 30 degrees is not that warm, so it's possibly okay.
Could you possibly get hold of a thermometer and get a jug of water to 30 degrees, so you can get a feel of what it feels like??
Do one wash at a higher temperature (50-60) and feel the glass whilst it is washing not after the cold rinses before going out to get a new element.
