Tongue Piecing

Okay I'm getting my tongue pierced next week...I want to know how long the healing process is, how much it bleeds and for how long, the pain level, how long until I can talk normally, and how long until I can eat normally? Lmk pleaseee! Also let me know any tips and tricks that you know of. Just an FYI I have 9 other piercings which include: 11st and second holes on my lobes, an industrial, my nose, 2 top ear cartilage piercings, and my belly button(If you have any of these piercing along with a tongue piercing pain comparison to which piercing is closer to the pain of a tongue piercing would be helpful) Thank you

a mate had her tongue pierced many moons ago, not painful, she said (but she had already birthed 4 babies) she did once get the stud stuck between her two front teeth which caused me a lot of pain for crying with laughter.

Regarding bleeding.. different matter all together. It will be very subjective.

You may experience a swollen tongue for the 1st 24 hours with moderate bleeding potentially or you may experience very minor bleeding for a longer period of time. As long as it is not gushing out of your mouth, or making you dizzy due to blood loss, it will be fine.

as you can imagine it's hard to say what will exactly happen because everyone bleeds differently, is affected by pain differently and heals differently.

you could have a piercing react differently simply because it's in a every so slightly position, literally 1mm could do it

I do know that dentists disapprove of tongue studs...can do all sorts of damage to teeth, that you're not aware of for years.
