What do you worm your dog with? Panacur a few weeks ago made ours sick, so we’ve just given him two Bob Martins tablets and he seems quite unsettled. Any recommendations? Thanks

Eth your dog will be safe with Advocate, honestly. I've given it to all mine and cats as well. Trust me;-)

Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, but Bob Martin's doesn't work, I get a monthly flea tablet from the vets which is included in the pet club.
We use Advocate, it covers absolutely everything. It can be bought from the Vet but to save money, we get a prescription from the Vet and then go on line to Petsdrugsonline, there is usually a 51% discount. It works out a lot cheaper. Good luck.
I used Bob Martin on my dog - never again. She was ill for 2-3 days. I ended up taking her to vets.
Has he got worms? If not why are you worming him? If you only did him a few weeks ago he certainly does not need doing again. If unsure you can always get a worm count done. Far too many chemicals pumped into pets these days with wormers, flea treatments and unnecessary vaccinations but I suppose the vets have got to pay for their foreign holidays somehow especially now many people are realising they DON'T have to vaccinate their pets every year if at all. If I ever see evidence of any worms I use Drontal which I order online as much cheaper than vets or pet shops. Use Hyperdrug or PetDrugsOnline. Those using Milbemax should take care as it can be lethal to any of the Collie breeds as it contains Mylbemycin.
